Spa Cuisine: Zesty Lemon Detox Tea Recipe


This recipe was designed as a cleansing tea to stimulate processing of excess fats in the body, rev up circulation, and provide essential antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals —a perfect blend of nutrients. It’s a great aid in undoing the effects of holiday over-indulgence.
INGREDIENTS
Enough freshly-boiled water to fill your teacup or mug
1 tablespoon real maple syrup
Freshly-squeezed juice of half a lemon
Cayenne pepper to taste
Simply stir ingredients together in your mug or cup. Be careful with the cayenne: A little goes a long way.

Dip in beaten egg and dip in seasoned fry mix or cornmeal and fry lightly on each side for two minutes. I love to mix Siracha and miracle whip to create a sauce.

Grilled Oysters

Grilled Oysters Shuck oysters and place on a towel to help keep them upright to keep juices intact. To each oyster add 1tsp each of lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic butter, and finely grated Parmesan cheese. Place on a hot grill and cook until bubbling. Ingredients: Garlic Butter 1 clove finely grated garlic 1/4 pound butter softened Blend thoroughly

Baked Parmesan Tomatoes










PREPARATION
  1. Preheat oven to 450° F.
  2. Place tomatoes cut-side up on a baking sheet. Top with Parmesan, oregano, salt and pepper. Drizzle with oil and bake until the tomatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
